Synopsis

After leaving his hometown seven years ago, Payton hasn’t returned. One heartbreak was enough to turn him off relationships forever. As soon as he arrived at Circle B Ranch, they treated him like family – something he’s never had – and he met the one woman he shouldn’t want.

He’s put her in the friend zone, but after agreeing to her proposition, he can’t hold back anymore.

Kaitlyn Bishop is the only woman on the ranch without a husband and kids. A family is all she’s ever wanted, but it’s never been in her cards. Since she’s turned thirty, she’s decided to go to the sperm bank or ask her best friend to knock her up.

She knows being friends with benefits is a bad idea, but she’s willing to take the risk.

Their agreement is purely transactional, but they’ll soon find themselves in too deep – something they’re too stubborn to admit. However, they only have nine months to figure it out.

Binge read this series NOW

My Thoughts 💭

I loved this book. I’ve been looking forward to Kaitlyn’s book for a long time. She is one of my favourite Bishop granddaughters along with Maize who is also featured in this book.

The story begins with how Payton ended up in Eldorado working at Circle B Ranch for the Bishops. Like everyone that sets foot on the ranch he fell in love with it and stayed.

His meets Kaitlyn they become friends. But, he’s been hurt and he doesn’t want to risk getting his heart broken again. Kaitlyn has had bad luck on the dating scene, and like all the Bishops is too stubborn to see what is right in front of her.

Then Kaitlyn propositions Payton and they struggle to follow the rules. But in the end love and life has a way of working out.

The story is a guaranteed HEA. It’s fun, a little tearful as you read of the struggles of falling pregnant and you’ll laugh at the shenanigans the Bishops get up too.

It’s filled with family traditions and banter and of course if you’ve followed the Bishops from the beginning you’ll recognize characters from the previous books.

There’s something special about the Bishop family that clutches your heart and makes you want to be apart of their lives.

I’m looking forward to the third generation series coming soon.

P. S. The bonus epilogue had me in tears 😭

Kaitlyn and Payton gets ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
